The country’s best professional painters, businesses and impressive painting apprentices from around Australia have been awarded in the 2015 Dulux Accredited Awards.
The Dulux Accredited Program recognises individuals and businesses in the painting industry that show a high commitment to quality workmanship and a professional approach to customer service.
A panel of judges comprising senior managers from the Dulux paints business assessed entrants against a criteria which focuses on the Dulux Accredited Charter of Values and business excellence which each Accredited member adheres to.
The panel chose three Painter of the Year winners, one for small (one to three painters), medium (four to nine painters) and large (10 – 19 painters) businesses. A winner was also selected as Business Professional of the Year, which recognises a business with a team of 20 or more painters. Commendation and Runner Up Awards were also given across the two categories.
Judges also presented Awards for Excellence across various categories, including businesses who display commitment to safety and sustainability, customer service, productivity improvements and inaugural entry into the Awards.
Recognising the great young talent in the industry, a Dulux Accredited Apprentice of the Year award was also given to a young painter.
Dulux Accredited National Account Manager, Craig Blinco, said the fourteenth year of the program once again produced entries showcasing the high standards, professionalism and dedication of the Programs’ members in their pursuit to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction to their clients.
“The judging panel was extremely impressed with the quality of entrants across all of the categories. Painters from the Dulux Accredited Painters Program continue to be excellent representatives of the coatings industry and the Dulux Accredited brand by setting industry benchmarks with better workmanship and personalised services,” Craig said.
