Highly regarded industry professional to lead growing Tenant Representation division.

Colliers International has appointed Tom Pullinen as Head of Tenant Representation. Pullinen comes from Cushman and Wakefield, and will take the reins in September this year.

“Tom will be a significant addition to our team,” said John Kenny, CEO, Australia and New Zealand for Colliers International. “Our tenant representation business has grown considerably over recent years, and this is an area where we continue to see potential. Tom’s experience, strong industry contacts and strategic approach will come together with our award-winning tenant representation team to create an industry leading service.”

Pullinen comes to Colliers International with a wealth of experience in the field. Most recently he held the role of Executive Director of Occupier Services at Cushman and Wakefield, and prior to this he led his own boutique tenant advisory firm, and has also worked within other agencies. Over the last 14 years as a tenant representative, Pullinen has represented clients like Commonwealth Bank, HSBC, NBN Co, and Symantec.

The team he is joining at Colliers International is highly regarded having received numerous industry accolades. In 2013 Simon Crouch, National Director of Tenant Representation at Colliers International was named the inaugural Tenant Advocate of the Year at the Dexus Excellence in Agency Awards.

“Such accolades are the result of the expertise we have developed over many years working with a range of clients,” said Mr Kenny.

While Colliers’ tenant representation team has worked across numerous industries, they have developed a particular depth of knowledge in the media industry, working with clients such as Bauer Media, the Nine Network and Mi9 (a division of the Nine Entertainment Co Family). Their expertise in the professional services industry with clients like Grant Thornton and Michael Page is also highly regarded, while they also have extensive experience working with Commonwealth Government clients.

“I’m excited about the opportunities this role will bring,” said Mr Pullinen. “The tenant representation team at Colliers is well regarded and I’m looking forward to leading this team to take on new opportunities and grow their potential.”

“Tenant representation services are being used more and more by savvy corporates who are keen to ensure their property strategy is maximized,” said Mr Kenny. “By building a strong tenant representation team to work alongside our workplace consulting and project management teams, we’ll be well-positioned to assist our clients in realizing their business strategy through an effective and efficient workplace strategy.”
